Let me just say...6 months! Holy shit! It hit me the other day that she will be here in 3 months give or take! Yikes!
So the check up went well. She measures 'very good' as the doctor said. I've lost another 8 pounds, go figure. Chuck calls it the 'pregnancy diet'. Figures. Only I would get knocked up and lose weight in the process. The doctor showed no signs of worry that I'm losing weight still. I was actually quite shocked that I lost 8 pounds in a month, since I feel like I'm eating a lot more than I was before! Thank God. I think my jaw hit the floor when she weighed me. LOL. It explains why I have to pay attention to my wedding band since there are times when I look down and it's up to my knuckle before I know what's going on! I got the icky glucose drink for the next appointment. I'm trying the lime this time since orange carbinated drinks leave me in a bad way a few hours after drinking them! Hopefully it will go well this time as it did the last.
I'm totally 'feeling' more pregnant now. I think I can bend at the waist from a sitting position and that doesn't work so well. I can no longer sit on the floor with the kids because it takes me forever to get my ass back up. Oh yeah, this doctor said it's not my sciatica that is acting up it's just how she is positioned. Nice. It's odd because it's my tail bone that hurts like hell. Getting up and down is brutal. I feel like a 90 year old woman trying to get up and start walking. Once I'm walking, I'm good to go...but getting there seems to entertain my husband. Nothing but love.

We were supposed to move in two weeks. Chuck decided to see if they would keep the rent the same where we are now. (Considering we have only thought about packing and never actually started, that's really scary!) After that last flood, I told him it was up to him to get it all worked out. Well the new property manager ( who actually got shit done around here after the flood last month...new carpet and paint in the hallway, repairing the ceiling in the hallway) is incredibly good, it's too bad she's leaving in a few months to go back to Texas.
Chuck is just happy he doesn't have to pack up his stuff. Although he still needs to go through everything (he's the biggest pack rat I've ever met) since the office/toy room will soon become the kids' room! I've begun the nesting thing (I think it's too soon, but others disagree) I want everything in it's place so I don't have to worry about any of it any more!

You LOST 8 pounds in the last month...and you are six months pregnant? YOU SUCK!!!!! I just kept packing it on. I think about 5 pounds on my face, 10 pounds on my ass and the other 35 in my belly. Holy Moly...what I wouldn't have given to lose just 8 pounds the whole freakin' time! ...or just not gained that last eight. I think I'm still trying to get it off, and it's been 26 months since I was pregnant the last time.
Glad all is well. And the tail bone thing, well sorry to tell you that that will keep getting worse...even post pregnancy for awhile. At least it did for me. But maybe if you're really lucky you won't get hemorrhoids the size of golf balls hanging down there. I still can't figure out how that happened even with a c-section. Heck, I didn't even get to the pushing stage! *gasp* Oh the horrors. I got lucky that they finally went away on their own. It's a damn good thing they're cute!
MGM.
Who knew pregnancy would be how I would lose weight. Not only have I finally quit smoking (duh. I always told my niece's that's when I'd quit....what do ya know? I did, easily too!), but I'm also losing weight? Freaky. I'd guess I've actually lost between 20 and 25 pounds on this pregnancy diet. I want to find out how much the next time I'm in there. I wouldn't recommend it at all. At least she's growing normally, so there' not much to worry. It shocked the hell out of me because of some of the mornings where I NEED to drive through Dunkin Donuts to get my vanilla frosted long johns (2 of them). I'm at the point where I'm just waiting to step on the scale and actually be gaining some weight! I just hope I can keep up the proportion size that I am eating after she comes along. It also helps that I still can eat a cheeseburger and fries? I want them so desperately too. There is a yummy hamburger joint across from the street of where I'll be delivering, I'll be sending people over!
The tailbone thing. Yeah I don't figure it's going to go away any time soon. It really sucks too. I normally sleep on my right size, but it's more comfortable on my left now, which is annoying when my night stand is on the right and I've got to try and roll over without yelping because it hurts! I've been working myself into believing it's not going to go away right away either. Thanks for confirming that one!
Hemorrhoids? I've been in total denial about those. Can they come during pregnancy too? I had no idea about after. Oh the things I am in denial about still! I'm a little more open to actually talking about the labor and delivery part. I still get kind of pale & light headed when I think about it for too long though. ugh.
Seriously. She better be cute. I told Chuck she better come out looking like me (at least with the full head of dark hair and the blue eyes, which we both have). He's already got two kids that look just like him, it's time for one of his kids to look like her Momma!
Yeah. The hemorrhoids thing...well, I never actually got them DURING pregnancy. And like I said, I never got to push with either of them. Yet somehow a few days AFTER my dear son was born, something really WRONG started to happen down there. I think that whole deal was much worse than even the part where I was awake when they were slicing into me. Yeeps! That was the first (and fortunately last) time that I had to Google how to treat hemorrhoids! Holy Moly! I was freaking out that those babies would be there to stay. I think that 50 pounds I gained and the fact that he was 9 pounds had something to do with it. The best advice if it happens to you, use donut ring pillow and use Vicks on them. Seriously. Who'd have ever thought about applying Vicks VapoRub in the anal area? It was the only thing that helped. I was totally freaked out that I would have to visit a proctologist or something and have surgery. You'd think even that wouldn't be such a big deal after the whole labor and delivery process, but at the time it was beyond a horrifying thought!
If only one prayer is ever answered in my life, thank GOD the hemorrhoids went away!
When you're ready to talk about the whole labor and delivery thing, let me know. HA ha! Actually, you might not want to. I probably won't be very helpful, now that I think about it!
And the 25 pounds of weight loss. Yeah. Well, I'd have been happy if I just could have NOT GAINED that last 25 pounds! I'd never have even thought about LOSING it.
Don't count on your appetite staying smaller, though. If there's any chance you think you'll nurse for awhile, get ready for an appetite!
