We are home!

We got home this afternoon! Miss Nyssa (say the 'y' like the 'i' in miss) is doing well. She just drank 2 ounces and is now chillin' in her swing. But I'm sure will wake up since daddy just walked in the door with Chinese food!

I'm doing okay. Tired as all get out. Incredibly sore in the incision area, but otherwise doing well. Getting up and down is by far the worst. Also not being able to do or lift things I don't normally think about, drives me crazy. Hurts like hell also! I'll post more in the next day or two. I've got to go eat now. I'll at least try and get some pictures up.

Welcome home!

My first c-section never bothered me. I was going up and down the stairs (holding the baby) within a week...I had no choice. The second section though, that one was a bit tougher. In fact, just a couple days ago I was trying to open a window in the house and I pulled something in my abdomen. I felt the area around my incision pull a bit and I was in pain for a few days. IT'S BEEN TWO AND A HALF YEARS since that second c-section.

I hear some people have a lot harder time recouping from it than others.

Hope you are feeling yourself again real soon! *Like that will ever happen with a newborn. Snort, snort.!*
